P.6 Cross-curricular Activity “A Visit to Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change” 六年級跨學科活動:參觀賽馬會氣候變化博物館

To align with the P.6 cross-curricular project on "Green Living" in English and General Studies curriculum, our school arranged a visit to Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change on 3rd April and 8th April. This cross-curricular activity provided students with a unique learning opportunity to enhance their English skills while exploring the important issue of global environmental problems.
During teacher-led interactive activities, group discussions, and project presentations, students planned and conducted studies related to green living and ecological conservation in the English classroom. By reading articles, conducting surveys, and investigating solutions, they strengthen their vocabulary, comprehension, speaking, and writing skills in a real-world context.
In this visit, students engaged in interactive experiential learning, examining the far-reaching impacts of climate change from scientific, social, and environmental perspectives while proposing solutions.
為配合六年級英文科與常識科的「綠色生活」跨學科專題研習,本校安排學生於4月3日及4月8日參觀賽馬會氣候變化博物館,本次跨課程活動為學生提供了一個獨特的學習機會,讓他們在探索全球環境問題這一重要議題的同時提升英語能力。
在老師引導的互動活動、小組討論和專題匯報中,學生在英文課堂策劃並進行和綠色生活、生態保護等相關的研習,通過閱讀文章、進行問卷調查和探究解決方法,將在真實語境中強化詞彙積累、理解能力、口語表達和寫作技巧。
此次參觀活動中,學生通過互動體驗式學習,從科學、社會和環境等多維度探究氣候變化的深遠影響及提出解決方案。
