A visit to Hong Kong Wetland Park (P5)

To match the theme of English and General Studies, the school has arranged
a visit to Hong Kong Wetland Park for P.5 students as a cross-curricular activity
to extend their learning experience beyond the classroom. During the visit,
students applied their English language skills to learn the names of various
scenic spots and different animals and plants in Hong Kong Wetland Park.
They also practiced measuring the duration of time between different spots in
Wetland Park and found out the distance between different spots in Wetland
Park with Google Map. Finally, they wrote a diary about the trip.
It was a fruitful experience!

 

為配合五年級英文科和常識科的教學內容及提升學生學習興趣，
本校安排了五年級學生於二月十二日到香港濕地公園參觀，
同學更運用英語學習香港濕地公園各個景點和不同動植物的名稱。
每個同學使用Google Map找出濕地公園內不同地點之間的距離，
並運用相關英文句式進行寫作。最後學生為這次旅程寫一篇日記，反思所學。
